THE CERTIFIED RACQUET SPORTS MANAGEMENT
(CRSM) CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The Certified Racquet Sports Management (CRSM) Certificate Program is designed to equip recent high school graduates, new coaches, and teaching professionals who are early in their career with the knowledge, education, and initial experience to consider a wide range of career opportunities in the racquet sports industry.

The program curriculum prepares students for introductory positions as a Tennis, Pickleball, Platform Tennis, and Padel teaching professional, as well as other entry-level racquet sports industry roles in racquet sports operations, management, and administration.

The business skills introduced and developed through the program will also prepare students for other racquet sports industry positions that can include manufacturer sales representatives, pro shop and retail managers, college or high school coaches, tournament directors, and racquet sports industry administrators.

Within the curriculum and program requirements, students will prepare for and complete the Level 1 Instructor Certification requirements as administered by the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). The USPTA and PTR are the racquet sports industry’s trade associations for teaching professionals and coaches.
